A sudden moment of realization.
Life is difficult. Period.
Life has a lot to give and more than that to take. You struggle your whole life to achieve something. Money, a partner or simple thing like peace. Everyone has something or the other to achieve.
I too have that “SOMETHING”. I would love to achieve that something. But to achieve I need to try and therein lies the problem. I DON’T TRY.
Well you’ll say, what has that to do with us? Why am I telling you this?
The reason I’m telling you this is that we all want something and we are not trying. And there is always a reason to not try. Fear of failure, laziness and well in my case the reason is PROCASTINATION.
And that is my epiphany.
I was talking to my best friend about how life is unfair to me. How if I was Ambani’s son I would have succeeded. He replied you could try to win rather than whining about life. Trying will absolutely lead to failure but at least you won’t REGRET.
That, there, that was my epiphany. I wasn’t scared to fail or I’m not void of resources. The reason I don’t try is that I’m a procrastinator. I should stop being lazy and start working. Stop pushing work and start doing what I need to do. Realizing the problem is the first step to solving a problem.
I have learnt my lesson. Have you?
This blog could be your epiphany or something else could be. But better keep your mind sharp because if the epiphany train goes away, you might have to take a fast local to downfall.
